The Daitoku-ji sub-temple Obai-in is specially open from 9 October to 6 December 2026, daily 10:00–15:45 (last entry), closed on 10, 11 and 28 October. Admission is ¥1,000 for adults and ¥500 for junior/senior high students; free for elementary students and younger with a guardian; cash only. Highlights include the garden said to have been designed by Sen no Rikyu, the tea room Sakumuken, the Hojo garden and the main-hall wall paintings (reproductions). Organised by Kyoto Shunju.
