Asahiyaki Electric Wheel Pottery Experience

At Asahiyaki's pottery studio in Uji, the electric wheel experience (1 to 1.5 hours, from 5,500 yen) lets you shape tea bowls, cups or vases from 3 kg of Uji clay with staff guidance. Finished pieces are fired by the studio and ready in about three months. Booking is via the official reservation page.
