Natural Whetstone Museum Knife Sharpening Workshop

The Natural Whetstone Museum in Kameoka runs a knife sharpening workshop of about 60 to 90 minutes for 3,000 yen per person; no knife is required and travelers are welcome. English assistance is available for a separate fee (2,000 yen for one participant, 1,000 yen per person for groups of two or more). Booking is via the reservation form; the museum is closed Mondays to Wednesdays.
