Zazen and matcha with the abbot at Jusho-in, a sub-temple of Myoshin-ji, with an English-speaking guide accompanying throughout and personal instruction from the temple's 16th-generation abbot. There is no Japanese barrier at any point. The temple is not normally open to the public, so this is a genuinely exclusive encounter with living Zen tradition.
