The dedicated 72-seat theater for the wordless show GEAR, on the 3rd floor of the 1928 former Mainichi Shimbun Kyoto branch building. GEAR uses dance, acrobatics, and projection mapping to tell its story without dialogue — running since 2012, fully enjoyable without Japanese. Tickets from ¥3,400, student discounts available; regular shows Wednesday, Friday, and weekends. Eight minutes from Hankyu Kawaramachi Station.
