金閣寺（鹿苑寺）

Kinkaku-ji, formally Rokuon-ji, is a Zen temple of the Rinzai Shokoku-ha school. Its Shariden pavilion — the Golden Pavilion, covered in gold leaf — stands beside Kyokochi Pond in a garden said to evoke the Pure Land.
