Kyoto City Zoo sits inside Okazaki Park (Okazaki Hoshoji-cho, Sakyo Ward). It opens 9:00 AM-5:00 PM from March to November and 9:00 AM-4:30 PM from December to February (last entry 30 minutes before closing), closing on Mondays and December 28-January 1.
