Kyoto's legendary live house since 1974, converted from a 1917 wooden sake brewery (capacity ~350). RC Succession, BOØWY, Spitz, and other acts that defined Japanese rock all played here, making it a symbol of Kyoto's rock and blues culture. Near Kawaramachi; mostly standing room, tickets typically a few thousand yen plus a drink. Check the official site for schedules; same-day tickets are common.
