Yuki Shrine stands on Mt. Kurama, a sacred mountain known for its tengu legends. Its grounds are home to the sacred cedar 'Osugi-san,' said to be 800 years old and 53 meters tall, and the shrine has long been revered for blessings of conception and safe childbirth. On the night of October 22 each year, it holds its annual festival, the Kurama Fire Festival.
