The show shares its name with his autumn-2026 original album 'Hippie-kun HELP' — a special live for the new record. The official line-up reads simply 'Morio Agata, with guests'; the guests have not been announced. He released 'Otaru-kun 2025' in December 2025, so this is his second straight year with an original album.

Getting there

3 minutes on foot from Hankyu Kyoto-kawaramachi Station, exit 11 (per Takutaku's official access page). Address: 136-9 Sujiyacho, Tominokoji-dori Bukkoji-sagaru, Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto 600-8061. The venue sits in a quiet residential street — the official site asks visitors to arrive close to doors time and keep quiet after the show.

Booking

Tickets required: advance ¥4,500, door ¥5,000. Note: the only channel is email reservation via Takutaku (per the official listing) — no counter or ticket-platform sales for this show.

Crowds

Small room, email-reservation only. Guests are unannounced; once revealed it could get competitive — reserve early.

Good for

Longtime Agata fans and lovers of Japanese songwriting. Lyrics are in Japanese, but the melodies and the room carry non-speakers fine.

How it differs

Compared with his February 2026 Quattro tour of Nagoya, Osaka and Tokyo (advance ¥6,500, door ¥7,000), this Takutaku show is cheaper at ¥4,500 advance and in a far smaller room — the same album-themed show, up close. Compared with a standard concert, Takutaku is a standing-room live house that feels like the musician's home ground.

Agata's official site lists decades of work: in 2022, 57 titles and 733 tracks went up on streaming services. 'Otaru-kun 2025' (QPHZ028) came out 26 December 2025, 'Hippie-kun HELP' (QPHZ029) follows in autumn 2026, both on his Qpola Purple Hz label.
