Kiyomizu Temple holds a special autumn nighttime viewing from November 21 to 30, 2026. The temple extends its opening hours until 21:30, with last entry at 21:00, allowing visitors to experience its famous wooden stage and the surrounding maple trees illuminated after dark. No reservation is required. The nighttime illuminations at Kiyomizu are among Kyoto's most beloved autumn traditions, and the glowing foliage viewed from the stage is unforgettable.
