鴨川湯

Kamogawa-yu is a public bathhouse in Shimogamo, Sakyo Ward, founded in 1926 and taken over by Yutonamisha in summer 2023. Both the men's and women's baths have deep and shallow baths, a jet bath, a cold plunge, an electric bath, a herbal bath and a sauna; groundwater is heated over a wood fire, and the colourful tiles are a highlight. Adults ¥550, junior high school students ¥400, elementary school children ¥200, small children ¥100; cash and PayPay accepted. About 8 minutes on foot from Kitaoji Station on the subway. Shampoo, body soap and hair dryers are provided free (operator's site).
