Shinyo Kaikan in Kita Ward houses Kyoto's first underground Noh stage, with a tea room and tea garden on the ground floor. Renewed in March 2018, it hosts Noh performances, workshops and lessons as a base for traditional culture, one minute from Kitaoji Station.
