Arashiyama Momiji Festival (2026)
嵐山もみじ祭り（2026年）
Held by the Arashiyama Hoshokai around the second Sunday of November in thanks to Zao Gongen, the local guardian deity. On the Oi River upstream of Togetsukyo Bridge, elegant boats, including an Imayo boat and a Heian kangen boat, present performing arts tied to Arashiyama along the bank. Free, 7 and 8 November.
