Kyoto Hozu Ai Kobo in Kameoka offers an indigo dyeing experience using Ryukyu indigo, lasting about 1.5 hours, with start times at 10:00, 11:00, 14:00 and 15:00. Prices including materials start at 3,300 yen (large cotton handkerchief, tenugui towel or placemat) and vary by item; solo participants pay from 6,600 yen. Reservation is required.
