“Drop by Drop” – dance performance by Zan Yamashita and Vietnamese artists (KYOTO EXPERIMENT)
山下残&ニャー・トゥイェン with プロジェクト・デイ・サン「giọt-giọt | しずくたち」
Before you go
A stage work in KYOTO EXPERIMENT 2026, Kyoto's international performing arts festival. Artists based in Kyoto, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City first weave dialogue, poetry and dance notation into a 'book', then build the performance from it. As the audience turns the pages, the sound of paper marks a rhythm like falling drops, opening up passages of dance, reading and conversation. The title, giọt-giọt, is Vietnamese for droplets falling one by one.
